i watched "flight666" a movie about iron maiden's last tour.... it was pretty darn funny and cool and metal via your ass all in one.. i used to be obsessed with them... i analyzed lyrics blah blah.... in some country in south america there is a pastor who bases his sermons on maiden lyrics... he named his son steve harris.. steve harris is a phenom of a bassist rhythmic and melodic all at that the same time.. i think maybe mike dirnt listened to a few maiden records. however steve harris rattles on without a pick.. it blows my mind.. the only other bassist that played that fast i'heard was cliff burton.. and maybe jaco pastorious......
if i had lots of money i would buy a steve harris signature bass to have and to hold....until i turned funktastic again...
