I had to road trip back to NoVA this past weekend to take care of some bidness, but also to leave my beautiful German Shepherd with family since he has been having issues trying to assert his dominance over my sister's Australian Shepherd. He had come damn close to killing that poor dog, even though my GSD is the biggest baby I've ever had. Sometimes when I lay down to sleep he will jump onto the bed, drop his giant paws on my chest, and bury his face in my armpit. Weird, but pretty fucking endearing.
I woke up on Saturday and made some coffee. This girl right here was outside the kitchen window eyeballing my mother's cats with some pretty intense and hungry murder eyes:
That night I got some full moon pics of a little gem of civil war history that was torched a few years ago. I had to park a few miles away and make my way to the site via a railroad under the ambient light of the moon and sky. I forgot my ipod of all things, but enjoyed laying in the grass during the 10-min exposures. I'm pretty thankful that no one sporting a shiny badge rolled by, seeing as how that little gem of historical significance is also surrounded by an 8-ft fence and plenty of warning signs against trespassing. Again, neither here nor there. All in all, this shot made it worthwhile:
Back in Georgia now, dogless and tired.
