Snow-mageddon 2011.
It's coming.
The national weather service used words like "potentially life-threatening," "Thunder and lightning" and "gale force winds" to describe the biggest snow storm in recent Chicago history. Since it has yet to actually begin, I'm getting my "stuck at home for 5 days" kit together so I can make the most of my forced vacation.
This basically means that I'll be "stuck" home for a few days watching zombie movies and playing World of Warcraft rather than being a productive member of society. I've stocked up on essentials:
1. Coffee (must have coffee)
2. Milk
3. DVDs (Red Riding Trilogy, Hot Fuzz, Zombieland, etc...)
4. Reading materials
5. Booze: Beer, Scotch, Wine, Vodka (gotta have the vodka...)
With all of these things, I think I'll be set for a few days. What I'm not planning on is the power going out for some reason. If it does, I think I'll be ok. I'll just have to snuggle with someone to keep warm ^^
More on this story as it develops....
