Been a long time since my last post. Things have been going well and I really can't complain. I wish I could, because I like to complain, but I honestly cannot do so. Complaining is actually something I'm trying to weed out of my personality - it's an ugly, vulgar thing. It really proves how judgmental or lazy (both, actually) a person is, and in my case these are qualities I don't want to possess. Nothing says unattractive like laziness and being a judge of others. Yuk -
On a positive side, I'm working with a few clients who are not only great people as individuals, but I believe in the mission of their respective businesses. it's wonderful when work and ethics meet up and are not mutually exclusive. I strive for honesty and transparency in my business ethics as well as my personal moral code. I'm glad I haven't been put into a position where I've had to turn down work because of an ethical dilemma. So, the short of it, work is good.
Been feeling like I need to get off my ass and exercise. I sit all day and work at a computer or at my painting station as well as when I am offering music lessons, so my ass muscles are really.... sad? The rest of me is looking rather soft and doughy, so it is well time to do something about it. I'm going to start realistically by cutting back junk food and drinking more water. I'm no fan of artificial sweeteners like Splenda and anything with aspartame, so I'm going to need to simply limit my sugar intake. That really sucks for me as I'm a sweets vs. salts kind of person. Well - no one got to look great without a little sacrifice and some work. So - my physical self is needing some work, but I'm positive about it - not self-judging... other than I'm looking fat these days ><
All in all - feeling good about life. Hopefully I'll be shedding my tummy and looking better by year's end. So, much like Jack Torrence once said "Here's to a miserable nine months..." only I'm going to choose to be positive!![](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/ph-508.604ed20cffa9.gif)
