This Saturday my little dog Tanjie died of heart failure. She was 17 years old and a much loved part of the family. She came into my life as a birthday gift from my mum when I was 11 years old. I still remember I was doing the washing up and was looking out the window and saw my mum coming home from work carrying a big box. I was watching from our 5th floor apartment and I could barely make out the little white puff of fur that poked out from the top of the box to be a puppy. But that she was and the cutest puppy Id ever seen and she was all mine.
She died in the company of my whole family, except for me and they all said good bye and kept her company as she passed on. I would have liked to have told her I loved her and gave a cuddle.......... but that wasnt to be. Oh well, Ill always remember her. She wasnt the smartest dog in the world but I loved her and we where best buddies.
