Our new flatmate moved in today. Its been about 7 months since we had anybody else living with us. My last flatmate, Chika went home to Japan the day after my birthday. It was so sad to say good bye to her, knowing Id probably never see her again.
My new flatmate is also Japanese. She will be with us for 3 months - so well have to go threw the same thing again next year. I do so hate to say good byes!
Its been good having Japanese students living with us. You learn so much and have loads of fun teaching them different slang and watching them become Aussie-fied.
Im over having male flatmates and living with friends. Guys tend to be too messy for my liking and friends just end up taking advantage of the situation (with money and the like).
Umm, spent Saturday recovering from Friday night. A friend of mine just came back from Iran and had a booty of duty free grog with him. Needless to say everyone got rather trashed.
Ive not been feeling 100% lately. Ive had alot on my mind. So I have kind of stayed away from reading too many journals on SG as Ive had enough on my plate. But Im starting to feel better and cant wait too see what you are all up to.
Over the past week Ive been listening alot to Mr Jeff Buckley (particularly, my sweetheart the drunk) and Vivaldi ( 5 seasons). They always clear my head and make me feel alive. Music is always my saviour, it can pull me out of any rut.
Questions for the day:
* Do you have a flatmate? If yes, how do you get along? If no, why not?
* What music do you listen to when your in need of a pick me up or salvation?
Have a wonderful week, take care.
Lots of big hugs and smooshes.....
MWAH!
