Sunday we didn't have much on, so I decided to spend the avo half naked on a hot tin roof ( he he). The resulting photos are up if you wanna take a look. They are very Oz, bright blue sky - not a cloud in sight. Rusty tin roof and Gum trees in the background. The only thing not quintesencially Oz in them is me, not a tan or a strand of blond hair to be seen. I had the best view in town and no doubt so did the nieghbours aswell .
Monday bloody monday. Well I didn't get as much work done as I wanted. It was a rather uneventful day really. In the evening I watched "black hawk down" and got all upset about war and its repercussions.
Today, I woke up and had the pleasure of listening to a bit of Mr Nat King Cole. He has a voice like silk running over a womans body - SMOOTH. He was just soooo cool.
I managed to get a bit more work done today than yesterday, but was in a bit of an off mood. That was untill we ran into some friends down the street and had a good old natter over a coffee.
Tonight we have the doors open as its a bit too warm. Outside its much cooler and I stand on the balcony with eyes closed and imagine I'm in some far away tropical oasis. In the distance I can hear crickets as a cool breeze breaks through the lingering heat and gives me goose bumps. My head fills with the sweet aroma of the first frangipani and magnolia of the season and my vision is complet.
And then, as I open my eyes I am greeted by a brilliant full moon illuminating the city. Casting a silver hue over two sreeching friut bats as they fly in to land on the branches of a giant old gum tree. How sweet is that! Good night
ps. If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

You planning to be in Sydney any time after 5th November? Me and the boys would welcome a tour guide.
