after a long and boring winter of not working much i quit my job and started my own landscaping company. one month in and doing well so far. i will be doing some mowing and some design-build. hopefully turning to just design build. wish me luck sg land.

officially laid off. i think sometimes i am getting too old to keep starting over. it's my own fault, i can't seem to stay in one place for too long. it sucks this time becasue i was planning on staying here. well, change brings new opportunities for growth.

well the recession has finally hit me. the rich people in wnc are no longer willing to put money into their landscapes. no more patios, walkways, planting beds, water features. the poor don't have money and the rich don't want to spend it.

well this economic downturn, or downward spiral, is finally hitting wnc. work is slowing down and all i hear from people is lay offs. i usaully have a month off around january. went to thailand, then costa rica. this year i may go visit some friends in california and get some part time work while there. no travelling funds this year.
