it's strange to be so far away from home. i'm curled up in bed, nursing a nasty flu i've been fighting since i landed in the uk. it's getting better, but i slept till around 2pm today (after waking up around 6am and seeing the boy off to work). i'm very much looking forward to saturday where i'll get to meet up with all the sguk kids that i haven't seen for four months for drinks and socialization.
not much to report, off to look for work next week after the long weekend that will hopefully allow me to recover from both a hangover that's sure to be around on sunday, and the rest of my illness.
despite feeling pretty rough, i'm happy. it's good to be home.

It was great to finally meet you (and the boy) I had a bloody good time. As for disappearing... I'm sure you two just couldn't face the emotional goodbyes, right?
