i suppose my arrival in london is worthy of an update, right? yesterday was full of wandering around notting hill and a bit of camden, as well as leicester square. by the time we'd made it to trafalgar square (NickySonic is my wonderful tour guide and host) the sun had fallen and the moon was in the sky. the day was clear, sunny and cold yesterday, fucking beautiful. wandered down to big ben and looked at the city from the river, again, beautiful. i am in love with everything about this lovely place, and i want to stay.
after making our way back to The Ship to meet with all the wonderful kids who made it out to out 'small gathering'. small? try somewhere around 30 people, the pub was packed, and it was great to see so many faces. i had a great fucking evening. you people are as good as they come, thank you for making me feel so welcome. i'm not going to try to name all of the lovely people i met last night, because there were just too many and i don't want to forget any names. but thank you thank you thank you
my jet lag has subsided and i'm suprisingly not hung over. i was feeling quite awful before the meet yesterday and was really bummed out, but by the time i'd gotten my first drink down i was feeling much much better.
i'll try to update once more before i go home. for all the sguk kids, and thank you again.
