I don't have to think long about this weeks @bloghomework from @missy @rambo @lyxzen !
It's easy to answer who's my hero: It's my mother!
She found her "right guy", they married, moved together, got 4 children and bought a house... It seemed like a magical dream. But at the 23rd november 1994 everything changed: my dad had an heart attack and died. From one second to another. Suddenly she was alone. With four little children. A house she had to pay for. And no job. (Have to explain that my mother was very sick as a child and through that she couldn't get a job, she's kinda handicapped, disabled.)
But somehow she made it. Almost alone. She was strong enough to not give up. I never saw her crying. I never saw her worry about, how everything would go on. And she never married again.
She gave all her love and power to her children and she was there for us all the time. She was my mom AND my dad and I'm happy about this, 'though I really miss my daddy... I had a lovely childhood and I still have the best mother! (And she's a wonderful grandma, too!)
My mother is the strongest person I know, and I wish, that - one day - I'll be that strong.
So this is a pic of my daddy and 2/3 years old me :)
