I'm not a huge fan of his band (Silverstein) BUT! I am a huge fan of THIS:
"In 1999 we at Hopeless Records got the crazy idea that if we gave bands and their fans the opportunity to connect their talent and passion with causes that were important to them that we could make a positive impact through music. Ten years later The Sub City concept is on the verge of breaking more then 2 million dollars donated to over 50 non-profit organizations. Our signature event each year is the Take Action tour where we bring bands together for a nation wide tour, compilation release and other off site events. Over the years the artists have shed the light on important issues like depression, suicide prevention and volunteerism. Take Action has begun to highlight individual young people and their world changing efforts to illustrate how we can all make a difference regardless of our age, socio economic status, physical ability or any other factor."
This year, the Take Action tour charity is the teen-focused program of Answer, the award-winning national organization based at NJs Rutgers University. Sex, Etc.s mission is to improve teen sexual health information and resources across the country. Our organizations tag line, Sex Ed, Honestly, reflects our core belief that young people have the right to receive honest, accurate and age-appropriate information about the entire range of topics related to sexuality.
With an active online community (sexetc.org) and a national magazine of the same name, Sex, Etc. serves as a resource and destination for teens seeking advice and healthy communication on questions about sex, relationships, pregnancy, STDs, contraception, sexual orientation, and more.
Um, HELLO. Could not be more perfect.
So if you are in the States, and you have the opportunity to hit up one of these shows, you totally should because it's for a completely worthy and amazing cause/charity/organization.

Yeah you're exactly right, it's often not them or the relationship, it's just the situation and the dependency
