Exciiiiiiting news! I'm going to Canada for a month. Not till December, but still. Thing is, I've never been outta the country, so this is kinda a big deal. Plus, I love Canadians.
Soooooo, aside from it being extremely cold, what else do I need to know about spending time in Canada over winter? Any Canadians out there have some good tips?

Where exactly are you gonna go? Vancouver? Toronto? Montreal? Don't go to Edmonton or anywhere in Alberta, especially in Winter. Victoria on Vancouver Island is really nice and worth a visit as is Whistler for a short amount of time. My fave place in Canadia is Fernie, it's in the mountains and it's cold but the people are rad!

Yeah, Toronto is cool. And it's close to New York if you wanna go visit. ![biggrin](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/biggrin.b730b6165809.gif)
