I hatched a baby Sand Dragon on the beach yesterday.
I was excavating an old sand deposit in the woods, where I found the egg. I wonder how old it was?
I hauled it down to the beach in the wheelbarrow. Right after hatching, his wings were still crumpled and filling out, like a butterfly.
After about one hour, he was almost fully formed. I think he is getting hungry.
He measures about five feet from nose to tail.
