Since so many years I'm thinking about a tongue split. I tried to get that idea off my mind, but it didn't help to see split tongues here on SG, or on Instagram. And it didn't help either that a good friend got her tongue split some three, four years ago.
When I was in Cologne a few days ago, I realized that I was basically parking just around the "Stigmata" studio. So as a spur of the moment thing, I went in and asked about it. So many years and then a split-second decision to do a first step. Bummer: The artist was busy, but I'd come in again half an hour later. And so I did!
Arnulf took his time and explained all the preparation, process and healing to me. Right in the evening, I sent him an email with some additional questions and the next day, I asked for an appointment, made some suggestions and there I am!
@jaybee will get his tongue split on Oct 1st 2022!
Since having that appointment fixed, my feelings were different every single day. From initial fear and horror, changing to appreciating that after so many years, there finally is an appointment, to my current state, where I can barely handle that it's still five months and I'd so much love to go leave right now to get it done.
