2nd annual Harry Potter Party and sock drive was last weekend. My old band mate and good friend Seth and Andie were also celebrating their 6 year wedding anniversary. I was actually at their wedding, but not part of the groomsmen. 🤷🏻♂️ Me and my friend Matreyu were the first to arrive.
I was team Gryffindor and I believe he was Ravenclaw.
The food spread was off the hinges with all kinds of potions and assorted snacks. The main food of choice for me were the butter beer cookies.
They were like little pieces of heaven in your mouth. Luckily Andie gave me a bag to take home which were gone the next day.
Even the restroom was decorated with the Chamber of Secrets. Andie sparred no expense with the decorations and it truly showed her love for Harry Potter.
Sad to say I lost twice in the Quiddich Beer Pong Tournament ending my reign as the champion. Beaten by the same person safe to say she had some skills and a cheering section. I will be back next year to take back my crown. 👑😜
As the night went on with craft beer and mixed drink potions I met my new bestie Piper.
She's Andie's co-worker and a real spitfire to say the least. We got along very well with the celebration mode on full tilt.
Safe to say we had an amazing time filled with joy and laughter not to mention a dance battle in the garage. I believe over 100 pairs of socks from all the guests were gathered and donated to the local homeless shelter. Which is a Win/Win in any book. Beyond stoked to celebrate 6 years of marriage and the 2nd annual Harry Potter Party. I can't wait for next year so I need to start prepping my costume and lingo for the next event. Great times had by all and luckily no muggles were in site. That's it that's all for now.
