I may have mentioned it before, but every morning when I wake, in my half-asleep state I stupidly try to flex my ruined fingers. The searing hot blast of nerve screams instantly wakes me more than my coffee addiction ever could. I'll never look at Paul's trial the same again.

Not the most ideal way to start one's day.

What? I need to put it somewhere.

1. Design a board game.

2. Increase chess skills

3. More Shackleton research

4. Read the entirety of The Penguin History of the World

5. Write (pen and paper)

Awww ouchies!!! Definitely take time to rest and hope you got pain medications that will work for you!
javamanjaro:
Thanks! I'm avoiding the pain meds due to a history of addiction, but I am fairing much better, as the pain is now down to a dull roar that can be more or less ignored.

For years now, I have been fairly drawn to Iceland. I've yet to be able to go, mostly because I cannot afford to turn that trip into what I want it to be, yet. Ideally, I want to go for at least six months, and possibly work while I am there exploring and experiencing. I have never tried to explain this draw to it, for...
