The non-scalpel vasectomy wasn't that bad. The thing that hurt the most was the shots for the local. I guess I'll find out if it really worked in about a month.

I'm having elective surgery next week--the old snip-snip. I've put off the surgery a few times now, but I think I'll really get it done this time. Not looking forward to wearing frozen peas on my crotch for a few days, but I should be back to normal a week later.

I had to fire somebody this past week. It was a long time coming, but it still sucks having to do it. I wish that person the best.

My month of parental leave is up, and I go back to work soon. It was great hanging out with the little guy, although I was made to feel like the hired help.

Last week I reached a career high point, but the only thing I got when I got home was "when are we moving to New York?" Which was followed up with threats...

Finally hit that milestone...next stop that CES thing.

The three of us are home....

Entering the fifth week of temporary bachelorhood. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so hot outside. It's not even that hot in Guatemala.

Going into my third week of temporary bachelorhood, and I'm surviving. I'm actually on my way to completing some home improvement tasks that I didn't think I was capable of tackling. I'm working on the boy's room, and I'm getting ready to paint it. Who knew?

Next week = too much flying around the country + remotely planning a party with the in-laws for the missus + random BBQ obligations + working with various idiots * work presentation that could prove career-limiting + getting ready to ship the missus off to Guatemala until the adoption is final * not knowing that will be
