Today was fucking awesome.
The only downfall actually was having to get up at 8:15 AM. But, I did that because I had to take my car to the shop to get my window fixed now that I have an over abundance of money from my student loans. Following that I had a job interview, and I got the job (it is only a couple times a month - but it is extra spending cash).
I then went to class where I actually feel like I learned something (for once) and in between I began to read Kim Corum's novel "Breaking the Girl: a story of submission." I read about half the book and attended class for most of the day.
After Anatomy lab got out I ran back here to my room to eat some dinner and get prepared for an elective class I'm taking called "The Healer's Art." This class is basically a way for us future doctors to get in touch with or at least understand better ourselves and spirituality. The class is about 3 hours long (only meets 5 times) and was totally awesome. Completely my kind of shit!
Afterwards I was feeling kind of motivated so I made a trip to Barnes and Noble, got a grande nonfat triple latte and a coffee cake, bought 2 CDs and a book (Andrea Bocelli's new CD, the Zutons CD, and "Kitchen Table Wisdom" by Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D.). I was then really hungry so I went to Denny's to have a sandwich and I finished "Breaking the Girl."
Now, I'm back in my room and of course not tired. It is getting late though and class is at 8:30 AM tomorrow, so I definately need to hit the hay. Anyways, I can only hope that tomorrow is just as wonderful!
Goodnight all!
