I had a surprisingly great weekend. I took Friday as a vacation day and had Monday off, and it's been a long time since I've felt this rested.
Friday I didn't do too much during the day, other then I finally scheduled to get my car repaired after an accident from a year and a half ago. The other guys insurance will cover all of it, but I'm extremely lazy and the first go-around on this I had problems getting call-backs from the guy at the dealership's bodyshop. That evening Mike and I rented Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle and some video games. The movie was pretty funny, lots of guilty laughs though.
Saturday was also pretty quiet. Mike & Kristy were out and about doing their own stuff, so I had the apartment to myself, pretty much for the first time in since Kristy moved in.
Sunday was a bit more busy. I had Tim come over and since he hadn't seen Batman Begins yet we decided to catch the IMAX showing at Studio 30. The IMAX screen isn't as big as the one in the Kansas City Zoo, but it was still helped make the experiance a little new for me so it was worth it (though at $11 a ticket I don't think I'll be making it a habit to go out of my way to see IMAX presentations unless I really want to see it).
Monday we had a barbeque at Tim's house with Tim, Mike, James, and myself. We had burgers and brats and wow did that taste good. I made the patty's the size you'd get at resteraunt, but they filled me up much more then I expected. I can only guess it was the meat Tim got (it was from all organic store, so no weird chemicals being fed to the cow I guess). We played Munchkin the card game and watched Scrubs on DVD.
All in all, a great weekend.
