What is beauty to you?

I want to know, has the standard of beauty shifted? Suddenly it seems that tattooed women are not as special as they once were, I see that more women without tattoos and crazy hair are becoming popular again. Is clean skin the new alternative? It’s so hard to feel “special” in this competitive environment, especially when what you thought was a place to express yourself suddenly becomes another place that solidifies your insecurities. Tell me, what do you think beauty is?

I would also like to point out that I understand this is currently a very controversial topic. Everyone has their varying opinions of what beauty is, to those who do not lead an alternative lifestyle or find it appealing, this is not meant to disrespect your choices!

To me beauty is more than just what's on the outside. Outward appearance will only get you so far before their true character will come through. I've seen plenty of 'pretty' girls (and guys for that matter) that quickly turned me away as their true nature came out. As far as the amount of ink or lack thereof, I'm not sure it makes too much of a difference. To me anyway. But you asked! Lol It's an art. If you are here to display your form of art you have every right to do that. Because we all have our own ideas and interests, we should all be able to appreciate someone's version of what they consider art. Doesn't mean you have to like it, but appreciate the skill and time involved.
