i'm in quite the mood today...i can't believe the holiday weekend is just about over...i'm feeling ansy...but i drank a bit too much last night, and have been paying for it all day...which totally fucked up my plans to either go to the beach or shower my naked body under a waterfall...i didn't even get to go sauvie island for a nice swim this weekend...ahh, well...i did however get to see a bizzare FROZEN t-shirt contest last night...it was pretty hilarious! women with their tops off beating frozen t-shirt blocks on the dance floor...sticking em' down their pants to try and de-thaw them...but heh, the 1st place prize was an electric scooter! so, there you go...
on saturday i went to the CFA resist-dance in laurelhurst park...it's amazing what people are doing to save what little forests we have left...i met one woman ('pitch') who was arrested and is now being charged with two fucking completely bogus felony charges...one of them was for 'inciting a riot'...which is pretty funny, since there was no riot...she was just recently freed after serving 4 months for protecting what's left of our ancient forests from corporate tyrants...she's a tree sitter for fuck's sake!...ooooh...that's soooo threatening...what a menace to society!..anyway, she told me how she and another fellow activist were arrested during a protest against the borg timber sale just this past friday...and is now soon to be a US political prisoner...if anyone would like to look into what's going on and maybe what you can do to help, go to www.cascadiaforestalliance.org...and for all you hippie haters out there...for your information she would be one of the hottest sg grrrls if she wasn't going to be locked up for the rest of her 20's and 30's...and, just think...it takes all of us raising our voices against injustice, for any of us to be truly free...we have to stick together and stick up for eachother...well, enough of that tirade...hell, with the amount of police/facsist brutality i've seen and heard about in this last week, it's no fucking wonder i'm in such a pissed off mood...well, venting has at least helped some...so now i'm off to find a martini and a nice view...
