Just got back from seeing the very last Philadelphia performance of Les Miserables EVER. Let me just say: It was FRIGGIN' AWESOME!
Very rarely does a story come along that combines topics of war, romance, moral ambiguity, and sociopolitical commentary, with such incredible power, passion, and emotion...and the way it is performed, with flawless soaring voices over beatiful musical melodies, it is unequaled by any other show, in my opinion. I am so lucky to have witnessed such magnificence before it disappeared into history, and now I have a memory I can cherish forever.
Just...wow.

I really wanted to go see that but no money, no time. I just read the book in December and I've never seen the live show.
