So I'm at the bar tonight talking to some friends and I realized a couple things. For one almost everyone smokes pot. I deliberately didn't generalize because I know some people are adamant opponents of the substance, but lets be realistic, almost everyone smokes pot. And it is much like cigarettes, people who smoked pot when they were in high school and college are STILL doing it, even with the 80k a year job and two kids.
I realized that many of these herb users give no clues that they smoke pot. It could be anyone, your stuffy shift manager, someone you work with, a state senator, they usually never send out any ideas that they smoke pot, which at first I found interesting, but then realized that marijuana has been (wrongly in my opinion) put in the same division as crack, heroin, and meth. Unless you're a hippie or a pothead, you don't deliberately throw out that you smoke pot because you are automatically put into the same company as heroin addicts and the like, which lets be honest, is not the best company to be associated with, both professionally and publicly.
Then of course my testosterone-fueled mind quickly shifted to something sexual. I thought how most women (again no generalization) never send clues about their sexuality. It is a widely assumed fact that every woman on earth that isn't a nun masturbates. But most women never give off any sort of "sexual musk". It drives men crazy. I'll assume that girls talk about it to other girls, because that's what girls do, but in the presence of men or a group of people they never give off the vibe. It is kinda like how most people over the age of 24 don't give off the vibe that they smoke pot.
Men on the other hand will shout on a loudspeaker about choking the chicken. Do guys think that girls find it attractive hearing their jerking off stories? I haven't a clue, but I know that I'm also to blame for this. Even tonight I can remember telling someone about my one-handed-habit or referring to it while in the company of females. I even overheard in a crowded bar guys talking about jerkin their gerkin.
Is it a biological thing? Does having all that testosterone blow apart the wall in their brain telling guys to keep their self-love stories to themselves, or at least only to the company of other guys? Is it the lack of testosterone in women that give them the ability to keep their stories to themselves? Or is it this primal instinct for guys to be outspoken about their sexuality?
I wonder what caused me to find all this so interesting...
