honestly ...

honesty is hard for me. i mean ... the best policy? really? the best? i operated for the past few years under the "it's better if you don't know this part" policy. but i know now that that is wrong because i shouldn't get to decide these things for other people.

honesty. it hasn't worked out well for me, yo. i started off my last relationship (Tyrone) with complete honesty. it seemed like a good idea at first, but it wasn't long before he started using it against me. all the time.

am i afraid now to tell the truth? yes. so yes.

but i'll continue to do the best i can. gosh, this year has involved so much recovery. if That One Douche were still around, i think he'd be proud of me. if.
