Almost a month and I'm just starting my second blog. Main reaason for this: the internet at my house was down. I was able to connect to the router but not the internet. When I was ABLE to connect to the internet, I could only do so for about 30 minutes. So, in a span of 3 days (each day thinking I fixed it) and about 5 hours each day, I finally fixed it. I just grabbed the router, tossed it, and turned on my modem's wireless attenna and *BAM!*, fixed. So, I was on the internet, catching up on everything for a couple of days and then jumped on an airplane and flew down to Dallas, Texas. My sister lives down here and what happened to me back in September has prevented me from working for the past...4 months now? Something like that. Well, since I have all this time, I decided to come down. I'm kicking it down here till December 30th and then flying back up to Canada, where all the snow and cold is residing. Yay!

What I have learned about Texas so far: Leaves fall of the trees, it's not always hot down here (it's about 11 degrees Celcius right now), squirrels look different, they don't have painted lines on the road (they have reflectors!), the desert is actually only located in the West and in the South.

What sterotypes are true: Everybody says "ya'll", nifty Texan accents everywhere (I've heard four different ones!), there's an equal amount of restaurants as to there are, totally, all other stores.

Since my internet is fixed, and I have access down here, it's time to get back involved in the groups!
