The Great Sydney-Albury-Sydney Odyssey 2006
Highs
- Air-conditioning!
- Overtaking lanes
- Foresight of making 6 hour long playlist for iPod (starring the Buzzcocks, The Donnas, and Regurgitator et.al.)
- Rounding down anything between 115-120km/h to 110km/h.
- As driver I was not a car-sick passenger.
- In fact as had no passengers there was no car-sickness at all.
Lows
- Feeling morally obliged to stick to speed limit.
- Relying on McDonalds for food, bathroom and coffee.
- End of divided road at Gundagui.
- Gundagui.
- 50km/h zones (may as well have been walking).
- Scary road trains.
Don't feel like I have the strength to delve into my actual stay in Albury. Suffice to say it was unexciting, uneventful and uninspiring.

Sounds like you had a semi interesting trip to albury...still wished u were here for the marly...actually, we were supposed to have a girls night, with Blacklamb...must get that sorted..
take care chicka
you will have to tell us when you get the strength of course
i went to my first sydney meet up at the marlborough
it was great to meet all (well almost all) the sgau members and to be in amongst it tho at times i was a bit freaked by it
all in all a highly entertaining evening
nice to see you back posting on sg
tho its terrible you can't get to sleep
i used to be an insomniac where i would lie awake just thinking about all the shitty things in the world and still do some nights but now i work fulltime which wears me down sufficiently so that i can usualy get to sleep alright plus i am up on the net til early morning which pretty much makes my bedtime round midnight uhh...
have you tried drinking alcohol?
that usually puts me to sleep
well when you do feel like it i should like to hear all about albury
btw am envious that you went away this summer and i didn't
hope u get some sleep
