I read about the SG website in a street press magazine and thought it sounded wonderful. After visiting the site a couple of times I am overcome by the girls. I'm so shy and insecure myself that I find it hard to fight against mainstream, airbrushed and liposuctioned depictions of women. I wish I had seen this web site, or had known some of the SGs when I was a teenager growing up in the country. They are so beautiful, bold and unashamed. I'm torn between feeling terribly inadequate in comparison, or being elated and reveling in my own body. My more senisble self is trying to convince me to believe the latter. I guess this journal will update how successful I am at it!

have you heard of that theory about left-brain right-brain thinking?
it goes something like the left hemisphere is your straight and narrow driver, the side responsible for everyday mechanical actions such as lifting a cup whereas the right side is your instinct, your thrill-seeker
maybe you should let your right brain take the wheel i dunno...?
