I just spoke to a lawyer, and I have to declare bankruptcy. I tried to go to a credit counseling place, but it didn't work out like I'd hoped. My credit will still be torn to shreds, and it will be 3 years of slow payments and then it will be on my credit report for 7 more years. If I make a clean break, it will be better for me. That repossessed car cost me sooooo much. Oh well. Let the healing begin I guess.

I work in finance. Bankruptcy and having a repo on your credit report are the kiss of death right now as far as getting approved of credit, given the current economic situation. Good luck!

Well Im not completely sure, I would have to find my papers and if I do I will tell you, but I would say by this time next year it will be all gone and Im pretty sure before then. It has been a hard road, I have to pay $425 a month and the way I do it is they take out like $103 out of my account every week, it has been hard, I think about all the tings I could have bought with the $425, but now it is almost gone and that will free up some money, the only reason I have stayed at this job for this long is to pay on that damn thing, Im looking hard for a new job now. I can see the light now, I didnt think it would ever get paid off when it was at 20000. You have got to do what works best for you.
