"Oh the pain, oh the pain of it all!"
In honor of feeling sick, nostalgic, and feeling a major guilt-trip about not being productive today, here are the top 3 things I miss about the 90s.
NUMBER THREE!
Ice World Lego!

Ice World Lego was far superior to Pirate or Space Lego for one reason and ONE reason alone!
NUMBER TWO!
Quality cartoons!
Have any of you tried to watch kids tv shows over the past 5 years? Seriously, everything has gotten so pussywatered down into babyish nothingness that it makes me sad. Sad and bored. Sad for the ridiculous levels of censorship being drilled into our young by crazed conservatives and the entertainment companies that are so shitscared of them, and bored because I have nothing to watch in the mornings and afternoons anymore.
Where are our Looney Tunes? Our Ren & Stimpy's? Our Angry Beavers? Our X-Men and Batman: The Animated Series's? Hell even Hey Arnold had more of an edge to it than the infantile shit our younglings have to take these days.
It truly depresses me I tells ya. Kids these days just aren't being brought-up right.
and NUMBER ONE!
Good News Week was probably the funniest and most downright entertaining tv show this country ever put out. I'd give anything to have it back.
Thank the lord for Youtube at least. There's actually quite a lot of clips from it up there.
(I never really tried sticking a question into a blog entry before, because frankly I don't believe I have the popularity around here to pull it off, but fuck it, here-goes.)
So kids, tell me the 3 things you miss most about the 90s.
