Blech, was supposed to hang out with my best friend Elle, just the two of us, for the first time in months and months tonight, but instead she decided to call me at 9pm drunk out of her skull at a bar in the city and try and reschedule instead of actually apologizing. This is after she bailed on hanging out yesterday and rescheduled it to tonight too.
MEIN FEELINGS
They be punched.

And now for something completely different.
Photography's been taking my interest again of late, and I'm thinking more and more that it's something I wanna start actually studying properly next year. Anyone who knows me in the slightest knows I really don't deal well with the routine of having to be at the same place 5 days a week, and that I don't generally react well to authority or any kind of schooling in general. What can I say? I'm a free spirit me. I have been out of high school for 2 and a bit years now though and I have changed a hell of a lot in that time, so we'll see how it all goes.
I need a job and I need to move out. Preferably somewhere closer to the city.
A couple of months back I applied for a writing gig at Australian Gamer. I didn't get it, and it wasn't a paid position or anything, (other than the occasional free review copy of a game and access to industry press events and such), but it has strangely and randomly inspired me to focus more on writing stuff, especially after a couple of people told me they were pretty astonished I didn't make the cut. So this journal entry is a conscious step in the direction towards getting myself to write SOMETHING every single day.
Yep, this is me attempting to become a more creative person.

Periodically I drag out all the games I have that I haven't yet finished and assemble them into a couple of big stacks on my desk, determined to work my way through at least a few of them. It's become a ritual that occurs every 8 months or so and I'm currently contemplating doing it again. I do feel like I should try and polish off a few of the things laying around before the big end-of-year must-buy game release rush fully gets into swing and I go broke until February. Hmmm...

I love the xbox 360 to death but look what happened when I borrowed one for a games night at my house:
Le sigh.
Wii.... well... simply bores me.. *cowers* I like Mario football thing and Warioware but that's it I'm afraid.
