Whew ok i'm a little tired. I just rolled into my house . We got a few days off til we play again. Well except sadly the fact I have to work on Mon. But hey things are going well so I will not complain to much. We played Thursday night with Brazil and Smile Empty Soul....We owned the crowd, Brazil and Smile Empty Soul did well. But I feel like we did amazing, of the few hundred people there....we were the only band who got screamed to do an encore...we didn't do it because we didnt wanna run into Brazil's time slot. But it was a just a phenom show. The boys in Brazil and the bassist of SES were some of the nicest guys I think we've played with. I say the bassist of SES because I really didn't say much more then hey to the rest of the guys, but no one was rude.
So of course Friday morning it's like a fucking blizzard here in the not so great state of Illinois, and we gotta be at a show that is a couple hours away that night....roads were horrible but we made it. And yet again the show was great, it was with some close friends of ours Left4Dead and some new friends Justify The Means. Basically everyone played well and it was just a big drunkfest, I passed out in our van outside Bud from L4D's house, while the rest went inside and slept...or drank more idk. Least my boys were nice enough to leave the van running hahah, for a few hours. We got there like 5am , I woke up at like 9:30 and shut it off. But now i'm home and I feel tired but very happy.
Every so often you get those shows that just pick the momentum back up, this weekend was def. that for me or us I should say. I def. realize how much I love my brothers in this band, Everyone of us has something about us that goes well with the other. They are super talented guys and they make it that much more fun. Same with the boys in L4D, playing with them is always a good time. Now we hit the road starting Jan. 25th with A New Revolution from Texas. We'll be on the road with them for a few weeks, well actually right around a month. We'll start in Texas and go over to Fl, then to Cali and up in the midwest. So I def. can't wait for that, they are good guys. For now I must go shower and make myself not smell like a drunken sweaty musician...oh the fun.
