So good old Gov. Schwarzenegger is trying to do something very, very stupid. He wants to cut some of the epic waste that is government funding by closing a whole shit-ton of California State Parks. I do not live in California, but it is my neighbor state and I have been known to frequent many of the state parks, because, well, California is quite a beautiful state. Here is a partial list of parks he has slated for closure:

To not have these areas, which are designated for a reason, protected means that many, if not all, of these will be destroyed. This is not something that we can just get back when we have the money.
