In the past 72 hours I have done the following.
- Had a 3 1/2 hour session in a driving simulator. I can move off, change to second gear, manouver through a slalom, stop behind a car, manouver round it using clutch control and then stop. I so rule at driving.
- Went to see The Aviator, very good, Cate Blanchet deserves an Oscar.
- Bought Donnie Darko and Battle Royale 2. Watched the former, seen it before but loved it still. Donnie and his girlfriend made me feel very lonley.
- Went to Manchester to see Velvet Revolver. My phone is full of videos of Slash. Had to listen to a couple in the next room of my hotel having sex. Lonley feelings enhanced.
- Bought more DVDs. A Kurosawa boxset of 11 films from Ebay, a collection of Jap horror called 'Asian Shockers' and Michael Palins 80 Days around the world.
- Went to see Closer at the cinema. Lonley feelings enhanced further by Natalie Portman being so adorable. Great film though.
- Came home, sat here. Typed stuff.
