Watched 'The Last Samurai' today with my cat. I enjoyed the film, but the surround sound confused my cat. It has also reminded me that I should continue my attempt to learn some Japanese.
The stumbling block appears to be the fact that its quite hard. I mean...do they really need 3 alphabets? The fact I am teaching myself with merely a book doesn't help.
Still, if one day I can watch Akira without the subtitles then that would be cool.
Went to the pub the other night with my friend Andy. Got quite drunk and ended up talking about girls, which is something we haven't actually done before. I told him loads of stuff I wish I'd kept to myself. Including girl in the street. But then he opened up about a lot of stuff too.
Anyway, thanks to the peeps who have commented on my journal and my continuing quest to say words to a girl. With your love and support I may just do it.
