Hey everyone, it has been a while since I posted on here. My account was briefly disconnected while I waited to get the money to renew it. Anyways, I was curious if anyone has ever been on a medicine called prednisone? I am on it for my ulcerative colitis. It is pretty much the only thing that helps me right now but it comes with some serious side effects. For one, it kills you joints and your bones, though I am not sure about the details for that, I just know that being on it long term is dangerous. But for me it also affects my sex drive. Now I haven't been sexually active in a couple of years, mostly because I have been waiting till such a time as I am in a committed relationship. Since I been back on prednisone I have been like horny all the time. It doesn't sound so bad at first but I can masturbate like 5 or 6 times a day, not exaggerating, and still be ready to go. It is seriously distracting! Like even subtle, seemingly non-sensual things can set me off. Has anyone else taken this medicine and had similar side effects?
