I feel really nice.
I have officially decided to go to midwifery school. I have danced around the idea for about 2 years. It feels so nice to have finally made this decision! I am somewhat intimidated by this though......
I dropped out of high school when I was 16. Although I am already a Doula and childbirth educator I have been able to pursue those ventures without a GED. I am soooo scared of getting my GED! I cant figure out why. Anyway, I definatl;y have to have a GED to go to midwifery school! And, one year of college. Oh, shit. I can do it.....seattle midwifery school here I come! (in about 1.5 years!)
PS-
im soooo goonnaaa get these. I love dansko

It seems so fitting for you to go in that direction, that is just awesome.
BTW, get_dead_kid took the GED route years ago and claimed it was a cake walk. He took a preparation class before hand and felt like he did not really need it after all.
I understand the feeling of intimadation all to well, but just like you knew you wanted to do this, it should all turn out well.
