wow i just looked at your fav books, we both have on the road, i have, but have not read the electric coolaid acid test, and totally forgot about where the red fern grows which i didnt actually read, but my 6th grade teacher read it outloud to us in school. she had really big teeth and produced little spit balls in the corner of her mouth when she talked. she always had tissues to dab them up

I guess I should have been better prepared for it, I mean it did exist when I was younger. I did have a friend when I was a kid who was the 15th of 16 children. When he was 16 his father was 70. Both he and his younger brother were raised mostly by his older brothers and sisters. It just never occurred to me before that he could have uncles and aunts his age. We never talked about his family, we were having too much fun doing other stuff.

i had that "old" moment when i ran into a girl who lived across the street from me when i was growing up. had not seen her in six years and now she 19. Holy shit. She was built.But all I could see was the 5 year old i first met growing up. A wierd blend of arousal and nausea.
