I was lookin' at 5th-wheeler RV's today. I've been thinking of rubber-tramping for years ... long before the English teacher deal. A tiny caravan is affordable enough, but the catch is the RV-park fees, gas, licenses, insurance, etc. However, I came across something different today on eBay ...
Sailboats. You can get a fixer-upper for $2000. Liveaboard slip fees to park the boat are only $300-$400 a month in the US, and only a little more than that PER YEAR in Mexico. Liability insurance is about all that is needed, and even that is optional, for around $700 a year.
This sounds like it might be my chance out!!!
I could do with a chance right about now!!!
