Day 6

Last wednesday was my last day on the sauce, and my last coke binge. Thank you everyone for the continued support.

Today has been awesome, my state of mind free of alcohol is something that I haven't felt since high school. My adult mind appreciates the solace and calm much more than my teenage hormonal mind as well I've noticed.

Keeping my place in order is easier now, getting work done on my bike, washing my car, all the forgotten tasks keep me busy and give a good sense of accomplishment.

Work is great, things are getting done, we're doing deals and making money. Money is staying in my bank also. Last month I spent about $600 on booze and drugs. My record for a month, about $1100. So that's money in my pocket now, and further incentive.

I told my Dad about my sobriety and life decisions as of late. He was very supportive, and commended me on making a good decision and catching things early. That was a relief to fill him in on a more personal side of my life. He and I haven't been the closest through life, but since he got out of prison two years ago, we've been making strides.
