Well last night was fun! Went to Corp for the first time since Easter and it was pretty much empty. Seriously, we were walking round for half the night wondering where the hell everyone was, then me and Col went outside for a cigarette and there were more people out there than there were in the club. I was really pretty drunk - but then I was really pretty drunk when I left my house. Then we went to the Cavendish and had a couple of drinks, then headed to Corp where I proceeded to drink 7(ish) vodka-and-irn-brus (drunk off the vodka, hyper off the E-numbers) and a couple of Carlsbergs. The whole night we danced to one whole song (Killing In The Name Of) and the rest of the time stood around marvelling at how old we felt. I eventually made it to bed at round about 4ish, then woke up at 7.20 cos I'd forgotten to turn my alarm off. Went back to sleep then got up at about 1 with a hangover that would slay a walrus. On the whole it actually was a good laugh, and I got to see Sally who I hadn't seen since Christmas sort of time.
I'm told that me drinking this much is entirely out of character. Which in a roundabout way is probably a good thing, cos at some point I'll snap out of it. I do have rather an addictive personality though, and since one of my 'addictions' is now moving on with someone else, I needed something to replace it. At the moment, that something is alcohol and Dream Theater. Seriously, I bought Octavarium near the end of May and that was the first time I'd heard them. I now own six studio albums, a live album and three DVDs. Lovin' it.
