So I'm bored shitless and watching Stargate: Atlantis on DVD, and AD Skinner - sorry - Colonel Caldwell says "Shields to maximum", and geek that I am it suddenly occurs to me: why would you raise your shields and not have them at maximum? What, is someone gonna shoot at you and you think "hey ya know what, these guys are pussies: shields to 30%!"
I'm not sure what's worse: that I'm drinking and smoking too much and not sleeping or eating enough, or that I know this and I'm not doing anything about it. Hmmm. I seem to be out of the depressed phase and into the "fuck it, why should I even bother, what's the point" phase.
