They asked me what it stood for, and I've found it very hard to get to grips about how easy it is now to tell anyone who asks...

My mother died of Cancer on the 12th of August 2001. She passed away during the night and I will forever have the memory of going to bed having said goodbye to her for the last time and waking up to my father telling me she was gone...

I got the tattoo about the same time as my sister did. We came to an agreement together that we were going to get this done. This is my tribute to my mother and the day we lost her. We have this day etched into our skin so that we will never forget the darkest days of our lives and treasure the brightest days...

This tattoo will start a stem from the rose petal and it will become a full sleeve and stretch across the back and down the other arm into another full sleeve...

All my tattoos will always have a meaning and I will never get something just for the sake of getting one...

Tattoos, for me, should be treasured like precious possessions and I will love them forever...
