I went out and bought a 1974 XLCH Harley Davidson Sportster, kickstart only (the generator tricked me 😂) and after 12 hours of work the night before I got it running and riding for today. I really needed this so glad I made the right choice believing that I could get it running. And I did. Still needs some carb work but I can ride!
