Today went quite smoothly.
Had my normal joking with my boss.
Normal discussions with coworkers about the owner being a dick.
Not normal being able to make the owner look like an idiot in front of customers while he was trying to belittle me.
That was delightful.
Semi-unexpected visit from a friend while working, causing me to work later than norm...
not even a scuffle about the parking ticket that I got for parking in a parking space.

Cause, while I was out and about...friday night...I got a parking ticket, even though it was not marked that I was not allowed to park there.
Fucking BPD...

Speaking of which, if you park and pay for a meter, the police department is liable to anything that happens to your car.
Not many people know this, but because you are parking on public property, it is illegal to charge someone to park there. In order for them to charge, the law states that you are paying for them to protect your car. Because they make it a mandatory fee, you have to pay it. But, because you are paying for police protection of your vehicle, if anything happens to it, the PD is responsible...
