Almost too good to eat.
My food tumblr. Linking to recipes wherever possible. Things that look beautiful and taste awesome. At the moment, it's mostly foodporn.
BUT... as I work on it, I will be adding my own recipes, food I've made, food I've eaten. My dad is a hotshot chef (no joke-- there's a good chance you know who he is)... and I love cooking. I think I didn't really have a choice except to get into flavour and texture and colour in my food.... I often think the most beautiful food photos are of heirloom tomatoes or fresh berries. Heh.
I try to always buy local, organic when possible... Fruits and veggies in season (though sometimes I get cravings I can't resist).
I make my own seitan, my own cannelloni 100%, my own gnocchi, my own ravioli, my own cakes, cookies, sofrito, tomato sauce. I buy next to nothing pre-made, except when I lived in Canada and I bought tons of crackers. It's true. I love crackers.
I'm vegetarian because of my food allergies... I was vegan for a few years but my diet was incredibly limited and no amount of supplements could make my body feel whole; despite my best intentions, it was not a good option for me.
So. Follow that tumblr if you want to see some pretty foods...
And go on... talk foodie to me... What are your favourite food blogs? What are your favourite things to cook?
My computer keeps correcting my US-spelling to Canadian-spelling.. Hmm.
