Well actually... that's a very good idea.

And how about this for entertaining?

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

You could soon be able to spice up your e-mails with your favourite perfume.
UK net provider Telewest Broadband is testing a system to let people to send aromatic e-mails over the internet. It has developed a kind of hi-tech air freshener that plugs into a PC and sprays a smell linked to the message. Telewest say it could be used by supermarkets to tempt people with the smell of fresh bread or by holiday companies seeking to stir up images of sun-kissed beaches. "This could bring an extra whiff of realism to the internet," said Chad Raube, director of internet services at Telewest Broadband. "We are always looking at ways to enhance the broadband internet experience of the future and this time we are sure consumers will come up smelling of roses." Emotional response The technology behind the idea was originally developed by US company Trisenx. Scientists at Telewest's labs in
Woking,
Surrey, have built on that research to come up with the idea of a "scent dome".

The dome comes with a cartridge containing 20 basic aromas, which can be combined to produce up to 60 different smells. A "scented e-mail" would contain electronic signals that would tell the dome to release the smell of flowers, perfume or coffee. "Our sense of smell is directly connected to our emotions," said anthropologist Kate Fox, director of the Social Issues Research Centre in
Oxford. "Smells trigger very powerful and deep-seated emotional responses, and this additional element to the internet will enhance users' online experience by adding that crucial third dimension." But the chance to sniff your e-mails not may come cheap. Telewest says its "scent dome" could cost around 250 and would only work with a high-speed, broadband connection.

Mmmmaybe not very good, huh. Bet you're sleepy now kiss

ferretbite:
I'm sure you'll be just fine. And I think you should be excited and yes, just a little bit scared but in the end you'll be great. Go get 'em. I'll be seeing you right here next time you come around.

Go Jade. kiss

How's everybodies weekend going then?

I went out last night, I was very very very sleepy but it was quite fun. I took my stepuncle to the nice places in Manchester which was a change for him: I think he enjoyed a little too much though and lots lots of money in the casino (incidently I tripled my money, yay!)

I have a new development...

I am a rabbit:
In Chinese horoscope land...

The description is scarily accurate. OK nobody on here knows me but you can all just nod in agreement to make me feel loved can't you?

Timid and attractive, the Rabbits of the Chinese Zodiac tend to act more like bunnies, whether they like it or not! This Sign is extremely popular and has a wide circle...

Question: How do I get my ex boyfriend to
a) Like me?
b) Stop acting nice sometimes then vanishing at other times?
c) Like me?

I've had a horrible weekend. Had to do something which I don't wanna discuss with my closest family never mind on the internet. I feel so completely down. I really need him. Sometimes I think he likes me then other...

Ha. yeah except hes not particularly silly. And certainly not a boy - far too hairy for that. He just doesnt like me cause I'm a big slag I thinks. Or he says he just doesnt trust me... perhaps I could tie him up til he trusted me. Then again thats not a GREAT way to earn trust.

I'm making myself sound entirely un-intelligent now!

oooh. did anyone in England watch Heroes? Its ace. And I dont want any Americans ruining it for me. Its not fair that you get things before us. But at least we have a queen ( I'm yet to work out how that gives us any advantages but it was all I could think of spur of the moment.)
ferretbite:
First: I loooooooove the new hair.

Second: Do you really want to be with someone who says he doesn't trust you and from what you've told us so far is not the nicest guy to you? I mean come on Slayer, you know better!

I'll send you a serious reply in 10 minutes or so. Promise. kiss

So it's the same there that it is here right now. I hope you don't have the wind we do.

Do you work for a hotel that has hotels in other places so when you travel you get nice discounts? If so, you could at least travel on the cheap. But you are so smart, maybe Markek is right. New city means new friends, new adventures, and maybe even warmer weather. wink
ferretbite:
I'm positive that I've seen a robot pirate somewhere, but... I won't be able to show you until later tonight.

If you do go to the gig with him try to just don't pay much atention to him. Bad company can ruin ANYTHING. Believe you me, I have had my share of frustration

I'm going to see Brand New tomorrow night though which is rather exciting!! Unfortunately it's with my ex-boyfriend Chris who's being a complete git to me at the moment and ignoring me - which worries me even more as he is in posession of the tickets frown

I'm sure it will all be ok (if I keep saying it it will come true. definately smile )
