hi, I hope everyone is doing good. I still havn't went to get a job. I'm such a procrastinator! (Is that spelled right? Who cares) It's horrible. The Beautiful losers exibit at the CAC is AWESOME!!! There's tons of great work there including a Basquiat piece, anyone around here I would suggest you go.

How's it going? I'm better than last time I wrote. I got some sleep and now I'm feelin' fine. Tomorrow I've GOT to go put in some applications. I need cash! I need tickets to BlondeRedhead, Don Caballero, Weird War and Death Cab for Cutie! That's alot of shows coming up compared the usual amount of ZERO good shows around here. LATE.

Hi. Gosh, it's only 7:45am and I can't go back to sleep! THIS SUCKS! I have a horrible problem with sleeping. It figures. On the days I can sleep, I have to get up early and on the days I can't sleep, I don't have to be anywhere! I'm an insomniac and it's making me angry. See ya's later. ARRR!!!

i prepare my stencils in photoshop then print it out in pieces, then tape it together and cut it out. ARRR!!!

hiya,

well, the stencil is usually bigger than 8.5 x 11, so i tile it, ya know?

for example, that dancing girl in the painting i showed you is 36" tall and about 15" wide, so i probably printed it out in 8 pieces - 2 rows of four high. i figured out the tiling in photoshop. then i matched the printed pieces up like a puzzle and taped it together, and cut out the shapes. so i had this big flimsy stencil that i wieghed down with pennies.
hmmm, technically i did that twice, once to create the blue background stencil, and once for the green parts.

get it? its kinda hard for me to explain because i hate numbers.

i dunno, there's probably better ways to do it, thats just how i worked it out. robot
