crazy vivid scotch dreams last night... not quite ready to descibe them. hungover and sleep deprived and busy as hell today at prospero's books. lots of frantic last minute holiday shoppers. thankfully my own family doesn't do the whole gift exchange bit, just dinner (yum! my moms cooking rocks!) and lots-o-booze (it's the scottish blood). happy gluttony to all!

Is the petter Jackson who you are speaking of the one that re-printed the Principia Discordia some time ago?
holdena:
It was after their edition came out. A company called "Peter Jackson games" printed it. IT has all the introductions and what not from ALL of the older editions, including that one (which either had the afterward by the auther or had the extra 20 pages... I can't remember which that addition added). Any ways... it was a really nice addition, it had a glossy black and shiny gold cover.
And I'm suprised you had any idea what I was tlaking about! I'm impressed.

saw return of the king sat. night on a mix of acid and klonopin... a very pleasant combination but i couldn't seem to concentrate on the movie. i'll have to spend yet another 8 bucks to see it again sober. still, had a fantastic time running around with Dr. Skiffy wearing not much more than a pink lacey nightgown and fuzzy slippers while carrying a...

I went over... well, maybe over a year and a half without brushing or ctting my hair. It tooks about 30 seconds to get all the tangles out when it finally came time for a hair cut. I was always amazed at how nice my hair stayed...

Acid, eh? I havn't seen that fella around for a while. I've been growing plants to replace the cool guy. I'm glad you had fun, I would have been rather scared to see anyone with a machette on that. As long as there's no dead bodies.....
I guess it's safe.

my favorite is pretty
typical, brkfst-o-champs. i wrote an essay (well, haven't finished it. my greatest flaw.) comparing that book with the tao te ching and kundera's unbearable lightness of being. sounds wierd, i know, but it really does make sense if you look at it in the right way. anyway, good luck with the library job. if you have a college degree you can get one of the higher paying positions but otherwise you'll get stuck shelving books for minimum wage. but, hey, it's better than flippin' burgers. it's a pretty burocratic process applying at a public library, which sucks, but be persistant. fuck corporate bookstores! don't do it comrad!
