Ive no real advice to offer. Personally, Im an obsessive blog-follower and commenter, and I look for friends of a similar mind set.
Of course, Im also one of those odd ducks who comes to SG for the blogs, and goes to Tumblr to look at pictures , and I know that there arent that many of the same mind set.

However, Ive learned that SG means lots of different things, to lots of different people.
To each their own.

I don't accept friend requests from someone I haven't had a conversation with.
